The new clinic, known as Fayetteville East, offers weekday appointments; as of Aug. 1, the hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. To schedule an appointment, call 479-435-9227.
SERC’s six locations in Northwest Arkansas – also including Centerton, Harrison, Rogers and Springdale – offer in-clinic and telehealth options for outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, including pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, manual therapy, sports rehabilitation and injury prevention.
The Fayetteville clinics provide complimentary injury-prevention and injury-related screens for the public, including fitness clubs and the CrossFit community.
A native of western North Carolina, Laughter moved to Arkansas in 2011 to earn a master’s degree in exercise science from Arkansas State University. He received a doctorate in physical therapy from Harding University.
Laughter completed an orthopedic manual therapy residency prior to passing the orthopedic clinical specialist exam. He is certified in trigger point dry needling and specializes in orthopedic and sports-related injuries.
He is joined on the Fayetteville clinical staff by physical therapist Jake Davies, the son of long-time area high school football coach and teacher Ric Davies.
SERC, part of the Upstream Rehabilitation family of clinical care, also operates clinics in Missouri and Kansas. SERC offers access to care within 24 to 48 hours and works with all insurance types.
